Contact Lenses

Contact lenses correct your vision and are easy to wear. Choosing the contact lenses that are right for you depends on your vision and comfort. There are many types of contacts to suit almost anyone. Types of contact lenses include:

Soft Contact Lenses:

These are most frequently prescribed due to their tremendous comfort. Soft contacts are now available for patients with astigmatism or dry eyes and can even change the color of your eyes. Soft contact lenses include:

  • Daily Wear: can be worn up to 12 hours but must be removed and cleaned at night
  • Extended Wear: can be worn on a more flexible schedule than daily wear
  • Disposable: meant to be worn for a short time and then discarded
  • Color-Changing: can change the color of your eyes even if vision correction is not needed

Hard Contact Lenses:

Also called rigid or gas-permeable lenses, these offer sharper vision and can correct nearsightedness or astigmatism. However, hard contact lenses take longer to adjust to than soft contact lenses.

Eye Glasses

Eyeglass lenses look simple, but can be quite complex. You can trust our opticians for the best guidance on the latest and best technology in thin lightweight lenses, multifocal designs and lens coatings. Below are some of the many options available to customize your eye glasses to your lifestyle. To see some of the designers that we carry in our optical boutique, please click here.

  • Progressive lenses: For years, we've sought an answer to the challenge of providing effective vision correction at varying distances. We now offer progressive lenses that provide a smooth transition to improve your range of vision for near, far and everything in between, and they eliminate those lines!
  • Bifocals and trifocals: These are a great first step, but those "lines" can be distracting. A more comfortable and attractive solution is here today!
  • High-index lenses: Ultra thin lens, even for those very strong prescriptions.
  • Polycarbonate lenses: Shatter resistant lenses are a great choice for active lifestyles and the only lenses prescribed for children.
  • Polarized lenses: Ordinary tinted sun lenses merely darken what you see and mask the real problems of glare. Polarized lenses are designed to conquer glare. Water, snow and even pavement create glare that not only blurs vision but also causes squinting, eye fatigue and even impaired acuity.
  • Transition lenses: This tremendous technology allows your glasses to adapt naturally to changes in your environment and change from light to dark as you move between indoors and outdoors. When UV rays are present, they darken, so you're protected, and they lighten when indoors. Their lightweight design also includes scratch resistant coating.
  • Anti-reflective (AR): To drive safely at night you need all the light possible. AR Coatings increase the amount of light transmitted through eyeglasses. Reflections off the front of your eyeglasses can make it difficult for people to see your eyes. Anti-reflective (AR) coatings make eyeglass lenses virtually invisible so the focus is on you and not the distracting reflections from your surrounding environment.
  • UV Protection coating: Protects your eyes from the harmful rays of the sun. We recommend that all eye wear have a UV factor of 95% or more.
  • Scratch coating: Protects your lenses and reduces scratches.
  • Tint coating: Fashion Tint adds to your appearance while adding comfort and protection.

We carry quality frames with warranty. You can customize your sunglasses with a variety of our colored lenses according to your personal style and taste. Take your choice of sunglass style with or without prescription to fit you perfectly. All contact lenses wearers should wear sunglasses. Contacts cause light to focus more brightly on your retina and may cause discomfort in many people.
